| Regional Membership Meetings | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The New Jersey Building Material Dealers Association will be continuing to host member meetings to get direct feedback from dealers for our programs, member benefits and future direction. Join fellow dealers in your area, NJBMDA officers and Board members and myself for drinks and dinner The major topics of discussion will be the economy, employees and governmental issues. We need to know what you’re thinking. How do you see the housing market in 2012? What opportunities do you see? What should your association be doing to help dealers? So, come on out and meet with your fellow dealers for some food and conversation. We're making this as easy for you as we can, and have scheduled meetings in different parts of the state. Communication with members is a critically-important objective of the NJBMDA. The association publishes bi-weekly bulletins, quarterly newsletters and an annual report for the benefit of members. There are many opportunities in these publications, in which advertisers can reach out directly to building materials dealers and associate members throughout the state. | There is a continual stream of proposed legislation in Trenton that affects the building industry statewide. Through its government affairs agency, NJBMDA closely watches daily activities in the Statehouse and promptly reports to members about any issues that affect them. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| As the proactive voice for the building materials industry in New Jersey, the NJBMDA regularly reaches out to local and state lawmakers to discuss legislation that benefits the building industry. Also, in cases when legislation is introduced that can be harmful to business, the NJBMDA has a rapid response network.
